Let us take you back to March 2020. We were just going into lockdown. Work was on hold, and there was a sense of uncertainty as to exactly what the future was going to be. Some people took the opportunity to come up with revolutionary business ideas, others took up bread-making, and some (including us), started doing up our cars. Priorities.
We started on cutting out the rust and ended on giving the car a complete closed-door respray. And while doing that, started the task of finding all the missing components and parts that we’ve been meaning to do for the last 5 years.
After the respray, the car looked fantastic. But it looked bare. It was missing the final touch. The decals. It’s amazing how bare a car looks without them. While there were multiple platforms to find parts, painters and practically everything else, decals proved a greater challenge. There were hundreds of non-trustworthy suppliers on marketplace sites, or very expensive custom design print houses. Nothing was easy, trustworthy, price comparable and simple-to-apply. And this formed the inception of Recal.

Our process

Design - We reference from original cars or factory decals. This ensures we are as close to size, style and colour as what came out of the factory and what you would’ve bought new.
Test - We will test print and fit on a vehicle to ensure that sizes are correct and colours are correct, before offering it to you.
Refine - We do micro-refinements after the test fit to make sure the decals are form-fitted and account for body contours.
Print - We carefully print on OEM quality stock. Once printed the decals are quality checked and hand-weeded to remove excess stock. Leaving you with a decal that’s ready to apply.

We are a proud Singaporean company. All our design and printing is done here, and we work with partners in Malaysia for special printing requirements including metallics and 3D printing.
Our test fitting is done in Singapore where the vehicles are available, otherwise we call on friends in Australia, Japan and USA to source cars to ensure our decals meet OEM standards and fit perfectly on the vehicles.
